Christopher Ryan is an award-winning, genre-blending, songwriter. He performs both original music and popular songs from the 1950’s through modern day. Christopher has spent the past decade making a living performing live. As a multi-instrumentalist he creates dynamic soundscapes for his audience paring the backwoods infused sound of his three string cigar box guitar with the driving rhythm of a kick drum and cranking out tunes accompanied by his acoustic guitar and ukulele. Regardless of the instrumentation, the performance of his songs contain an authenticity that demands to be heard.

BIO
Christopher Ryan is an award-winning, genre-blending, songwriter. For the past decade Christopher has made a living performing music at public and private event. He performs both original music and popular songs from the 1950’s through modern day. Today he calls Colorado home.
As a multi-instrumentalist Christopher Ryan brings a lot to the stage. He pairs the backwoods infused sound of his three string cigar box guitar with the driving rhythm of a kick drum. He performs songs accompanying his voice with only a hand drum. And yes, he croons out ballads accompanied by his acoustic guitar and a ukulele. Regardless of the instrumentation, the performance of his songs contain an authenticity that demands to be heard.
Christopher's music has been played on radio stations worldwide. In 2019 he was selected as an Artist in Residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts where he worked with Grammy Award winner Larry Mitchell. In 2021, Christopher took second place in the COMBO Songwriting Contest. In 2022 he was a Showcase Finalist in the Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest. In 2025, his "Distant Diamonds" music video won the Best Music Video award at three international film festivals.
